Bumbled Baking with Ep 26

This week with Quick Mixes Annitsa attempted a cheesy pretzel recipe from The Daily Meal.  Hers didn’t quite turn out the way they should have…

  • 2 1/2 cups baking mix, such as Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a baking sheet. Combine baking mix, milk, and cheese in bowl.

Roll into 8-by-12-inch rectangle on floured surface. Cut into strips. Twist each strip into pretzel shape and place on greased baking sheet.

Brush strips with beaten egg. Sprinkle with salt. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Now for how they actually looked in real life:

Post-roll and what a mess.
Buttered and salted and still a mess.
Baked and….looking a mess.

The Awkwardness of Youth

When three gals start chatting about their tomboyish childhood styles, it must be documented in photos.  Janell Lenfert of Duke Sketch Comedy and Fail Army Live on Facebook told us about how she used to dress like her older brother–so we called her on it.  She wasn’t bluffing.

Janell and her brother, circa…sometime in the 90s.

Annitsa then felt compelled to share her similar story.  On one vacation she was called a boy three times.

Not sure why…(Annitsa’s on the left, her brothers next to her)

And not to be outdone, Jenna spoke of her hairless, jank-toothed camel-toe dance photo.  (Say that five times fast.)

Thank goodness for Episode 004 of Two Bulk Girls, huh?
